Choose your practice route
Select Ordinary or Higher Level. Use Study Mode for vocabulary, structures and speaking ideas, and Exam Mode for independent answers. You can practise each task separately before starting the full mock.
Conversation: answer and add detail
Choose a topic, listen and answer in German. Add a reason or example and use the appropriate tense. Request feedback with Prüfen. Repeat an improved answer aloud, paying particular attention to verb position and sentence endings.
Roleplays and Bilderserien
For a role play, read the candidate instructions, play the examiner audio and respond to each required point. Practise asking questions as well as giving information. For Bilderserien, use your own textbook or exam picture sequence alongside the selected story. Describe events in order, link them with connectors and review your description using the feedback.
Full mock: configure all three parts
Select Full Mock Exam · 100 marks. For part two, choose Bilderserie and select exactly three prepared picture sequences, or choose Projekt and enter your project title and a few details. Select exactly three prepared role plays. The app chooses one sequence, when applicable, and one role play at random. Its practice result combines General Conversation (40), Picture Sequence or Project (30), and Roleplay (30). Complete the route to receive the final result.
Use the shorter mock for a quick check
Conversation Practice Mock (5 Questions) practises conversation only. It does not include the picture sequence or project and role play parts. Use it between full mocks to check whether your answers are becoming clearer.
Example: give a reason and a time detail
Ich spiele gern Fußball, weil es Spaß macht. Letzten Samstag habe ich mit meinen Freunden gespielt. Notice the final verb after weil and the position of gespielt. Adapt the example to your own interests.
Speak, dictate and listen
Add the German keyboard in your device settings. Tap the answer box and use the keyboard microphone to dictate, or type your answer. Set dictation to the language you are speaking and check that the transcript matches your words before submitting. If audio is silent, check the device volume and whether your browser has a suitable language voice. Try another browser or device if needed. The “listen to my answer” control reads the submitted text using a synthetic voice; it does not replay a recording of you.
Use feedback to improve your next attempt
The AI reviews your submitted text. It cannot reliably assess your pronunciation, pace or live interaction from a transcript. Treat scores as practice estimates. Check suggestions that seem doubtful with your teacher. Choose one useful correction and one phrase, then answer again aloud in your own words.
A 15-minute practice routine
- 3 minutes: choose one topic and prepare a few useful words or a structure in Study Mode.
- 5 minutes: answer aloud, submit your response and read the feedback.
- 4 minutes: repeat the answer without reading, then practise one more question or task.
- 3 minutes: note one improvement and one target for next time.
Before your next session
- I can understand the question and answer it directly.
- I can add a relevant reason or example.
- I have practised one correction aloud.
- I know which task or topic to practise next.
